Simulation Studies of Control Systems for Doubly Fed Induction Generator Supplied by the Current Source Converter

The control system for a Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) supplied by grid-connected Current Source Converter (CSC) is presented in this paper. Nonlinear transformation of DFIG model to the multi-scalar form proposed. nonlinear strategy active and reactive power realized feedback linearization. In proposed scheme, CSI parameters are included. Two Proportional-Integral (PI) controllers dedicated respective powers. variables dc-link input voltage vector angular speed inverter output current. approach characterized satisfactional dynamics provides enhanced quality transferred grid. simulation, evaluation characteristic operating states generator system, correctness linearization loops studied. Simulation results adequately provided.
